Miscellaneous and random posts from my blogroll ….
Ever wonder why a corrupt useful idiot like Murtha keeps getting re-elected to Congress? He has a real appetite for pork and knows how to give just enough to his district to keep them voting him into office. Check out PC Free Zone for more on that.
The Pirate’s Cove is covering the muslims calling on the U.N. to outlawed ‘defamation’ of religion’ in response to some Swedish cartoons. I just wonder if the U.N. will cave into that demand. If they do, what cha wanna bet they don’t include defamation against Christianity and Judaism!
Villainous Company has an excellent article on Senator Chuck Schumer’s recent speech on the Senate floor explicitly telling the United States Marines serving in Al Anbar Province that they are complete failures and that progress there is in spite of them, not because of them. (Can we question their patriotism yet?)
She Who Will Be Obeyed! has taken to ‘farm blogging’. She might have found a new niche. This photo is gorgeous.
Thoughts by Seawitch writes about Mississippi’s recovery from hurricane Katrina. Who knew that Mississippi had been affected by Katrina?!?! Who knew there was ever a place affected by any hurricane before Katrina hit New Orleans!?!?
Something … and Half of Something reminds us that there IS NO TERRORISTS THREAT!!!
Planck’s Constant writes about the spat film maker Oliver Stone had with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Apparently, the two have patched up their differences and Stone will continue with his plans to make a film about Ahamamajihad. Interestingly, Ahamamajihad said of Stone, ‘It is right that this person is considered part of the opposition in the U.S. but opposition in the U.S. is a part of the Great Satan.’ Why is it that hollywood doesn’t understand the islamists want to kill them too regardless of how much they stab America in the back?
Texas Fred wonders why our guys only killed 14 insurgents in a 45 minute attack! Yeah, me too! You know they can do better than that! But, of course, the Iraqis are still trying to make accusations - hey, it worked in Haditha didn’t it! *spit*
Girl on the Right went dumpster diving and re-emerged with some nasty stuff. Apparently, well-to-do white males are not allowed to be victims of crime. Period.
Southern Sass on Crime calls Geraldo Rivera a ‘maniacal misogynist media ho’. That just cracked me up! Its all about Geraldo threatening to spit on Michelle Malkin because Geraldo is psycho on the the illegal immigration issue. I know its a serious issue, but I just can’t quit laughing. The visual of Geraldo going up against Michelle is just so funny to me. One drama queen and one person with a brain would just be something to watch.
