I just thought this was a great photo. I would give credit if I knew where to give credit, but I don’t.

I saw the Northern Lights once. It was when we lived up in Michigan. It was a cold November night and my son was playing outside. He kept running in the house and telling us to come outside, he could see the Northern Lights. We kept blowing him off saying you couldn’t see the northern lights that far south and it was probably just clouds or something. He was just a little kid so we didn’t really think he knew what the Northern Lights were. Besides, it was really cold outside!

Finally, I walked with him outside to pacify him and sure enough the sky was lit up and multicolored lights that slowly and gracefully danced across the sky. We went in and got my husband and daughter and we all stood out in the cold night and watched the show.

It was breathtaking really. A gift of nature for us to enjoy.
