It seems the idea of a democracy has been so warped by the government these past years that people tend to lose sight of the fact that they still do have a say. True this may not have been the most professional way of going about spreading their views, but with things like YouTube and other internet media, who could blame them. It is said to see people treating a nonviolent protest as treason, these womens outbursts display a great example on why our nation has the potential to be so great and open minded. To feel betrayed by this seems almost paradoxical. Like everyone on this site you are entitled to have your own opinion, so who is to say someone else’s tactics are wrong if no life is lost, we should always strive to remove the tape over our mouths and use our minds and words (if you dont agree with something then proudly stand by it, even if its this post) not our capacity for capacity for destruction.

C’mon…no one can truly nor sincerely claim to be surprised that Code Pink pulled this stunt. Their dubious history is such that one should logically EXPECT this exact sort of stunt from Code Pink. They routinely attempt to sneak members in to various Congressional activities, especially ones with national press coverage for the sole purpose of disrupting it. They usually use members whom have not been arrested before so no long term jail sentences are normally imposed and if one is, they cry loudly about oppression by the Bush administration. Code Pink is a clearcut example of “Bush derangement syndrome” in action as well as the typical hypocrisy of extremist liberalism. Their unwritten platform as evidenced by their actions is “free speech for me but not for thee” whenever the “thee” does not fall into lockstep with them. This also applies to all George Soros controlled organizations like MoveOn.org as well as Daily Kos and Huffington Post. These are the extremist organizations that has intimidated Democrats into capitulating to their demands. This is also why the national Democrat Party is completely out of touch with the American public as well as reality.
