Now this is interesting … the Senate voted on whether or not to support General Petraeus, our commanding general in Iraq during a time of war, they had to actually take a vote on whether or not to support him. They voted to support him versus the Moveon.org ad the New York Times ran that slandered him. What is interesting, besides the fact they felt they actually had to take a vote as to whether American Senators would support a war time general (sheesh!) is that fact that is wasn’t a vote of unanimous support. The democratic presidential contenders either voted ‘nay’ or didn’t vote. Conservative Thoughts has the information and the stats on who voted and what they voted. Do you REALLY want these people in the presidency while we are at war?

The Pirate’s Cove gives us yet another example of complete insanity on the left. He’s gone dumpster diving to the DU again. I don’t know how he keeps from catching something nasty doing that! It appears our countrymen at the DU have ample sympathy and understanding for people like Iran’s Ahma-mama-jihad. That just seems strange to me since they can find nothing good to say about Americans. Declare you will destroy Israel and the United States and they love you. Declare you’ll lay down your own life to protect and serve the United States then you are the devil to them. Who can understand this!
