Jack Bauer Kiefer Sutherland was arrested in the wee hours of this morning on DUI charges. He apparently blew double the legal limit. This isn’t his first arrest, he’s done it before, so he’s probably looking at some jail time for this one.
Jack Kiefer is no stranger to confinement though - remember his time as a captive of the Chinese? No, never mind, that was Jack.
Well, if you had Jack’s life you would probably drink too. He’s had so many loses and he has incredibly long days. Think about it. Think about all he’s been through and all the horrible betrayals he’s endured. Think about it and cut him some slack!
He was booked at Hollywood station and released about 4 a.m. after posting $25,000 bail, Aguirre said. Sutherland is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 16, Aguirre said.
Sutherland won a best actor Emmy award last year for his performance on the Fox TV series “24.” The series is set to return in January.
Sutherland was scheduled today to receive an award for excellence from the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists for his contribution to Canadian actors and the industry at a tea reception at the consul general of Canada’s residence in Los Angeles, according to the alliance’s website. I bet he doesn’t feel a bit like going to that reception!

I wonder if Canada will let him come home.
I had a friend a couple of years back that wasn’t allowed to cross the border by the Canadians because he had a DUI on his driving record. Apparently the Canadians thought he was a danger to their society.
BSC: That’s interesting. I had no idea. Its especially interesting considering they have welcomed draft dodgers from the United States since the Revolutionary War!!
A day in the life of Columbia University students…
This is what is happening now. There are many people who have opinions about this, but the only opinions that will matter, factually, are those in the Middle East. Did this president of a university insult many more Iranians than Ahmadinejad has done…..
