Beyonce Knowles has canceled her scheduled tour stop in Malaysia because the muslim country demanded she change her attire and show to comply with koranic laws.
Although Malaysia is a moderate Muslim country with sizeable non-Muslim minorities, conservative groups often frown upon departures from strict Koranic injunctions.
The source also said Beyonce, known for her skimpy outfits, also balked at government rules banning sexy attire and running and jumping on stage.
“You mean when she comes to Malaysia she has to change all her stuff?” the source added.
“It’s also beyond the dressing. She has to change the show. Basically, the ministry wants her to stand in front of the microphone and open her mouth. Just sing and cannot move.”
Ironically, Beyonce will instead perform in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta on November 1. Indonesia is the world’s most populous Muslim country.
Last August, singer Gwen Stefani proceeded with her show in Malaysia despite calls from Muslim students who demanded that the event be can canceled as being too obscene.
But she wore no revealing costumes in line with the guidelines.
Annndddd … this is what the progressive hollywood crowd is wanting? Doesn’t make any sense, does it. The muslim community will take away the tools of their trade at the very least (if not their heads to boot).
Good for Beyonce for canceling the concert rather than complying with their restrictions. Oh, and they call those demands ‘moderate’?? I’d hate to see what the fundamentalists muslims demand then … woah!

Just in case you were wondering……
I am going to tell you about the struggles I am having with my left hand. A few days ago, it was working fine. I found myself sleeping at the computer again, and I had lost the feeling in my hand. Well, not actually the feeling because it was tinglin…..
