I agree with Shadowscope where I found this story. Its a great idea, but she’s not likely to win. I’ve thought about this issue whenever there have been school shootings. If only the good guys had guns and could protect themselves there would be so much less death and destruction. Unfortunately, the good guys are often unarmed and therefore helpless to anyone who wants to victimize them.
My wife has been teaching for about 14 years and the 2nd or 3rd year she taught this girl was raped in the bathroom right down the hall from my wife’s class. I can definitely relate to the teacher that is suing.
