Just the other day I posted General Peter Pace’s retirement speech and lamented that it would be so great to have someone like him running for President. I wrote that I’d vote for him in a heartbeat.
Apparently, I wasn’t the only one thinking along those lines.
There is a Draft General Pace for the Senate movement. They aren’t talking Presidency, but they are talking Senate.
I think the fact that people are looking around for people like General Pace means that the people are hungry for strong, real leadership. The people of this country are wanting decent, honorable men/women leading the country with integrity and statesmanship.
