As I have mentioned several times in this blog, Ayaan Hirsi Ali has a contract out on her life. The former member of the Dutch parliament dared to leave and speak out against the violence and misogyny inherent in the religion. She does not differentiate between ‘islam’ and ‘radical islam’ as those of us who are determined to be politically correct do. She’s lived it, seen it up close and personal, been victimized by it and calls it what it is.
The threats on her life are not idol threats. She would not be the first and probably not the last to be murdered in the name of mohammad for leaving and/or criticizing the religion of islam. Her close friend Theo Van Gough was murdered in the street for making a movie the film ‘Submission’. Ali was involved in that project with van Gough and would meet the same fate if they can get to her. Probably a worse fate because of her continued defiance and because she’s a woman.
Courage is a rare commodity, but Ayann Hirsi Ali has plenty of it.
As I mentioned in a previous post, the socialist system in Europe has had a problem providing her with the security that was promised to her by the Dutch government.
Jules Crittenden has come up with an absolutely brilliant solution to the whole problem! Its the type of solution that should have been obvious to anyone from the get-go.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali is the absolute embodiment of so many causes supported by the very wealthy! Surely, an account can be set up for her security that would be funded through donations from those who support the causes she stands for!!!
Starting with CAIR (the Council on American Islamic Relations). They entire purpose for existence is the defense of muslims!! VOILA! Problem solved!
Once you start thinking along these lines the possibilities are endless! Crittenden has an impressive list. Hollywood who is enamored with strong women who are endangered! He calls upon Susan Sarandon and Charlize Theron to come to her aid! That’s right up their alley, but oddly, not a peep from them in support of this strong woman who stands alone against the theological beliefs that would have her tortured and killed. Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, NOW. The list goes on and on.
There are so many options that Crittenden is suggesting we actually start a drive to do just that on Ali’s behalf. I think its brilliant!
But then …. that’s a whole other kettle of fish than taking up causes for oppressed Americans who dare not speak out for fear of retaliation (insert rolled eyes here). No, this one is different. They really do want to kill Ayaan Hirsi Ali for what she has said. That’s real. It ain’t hollywood.
