Fred Thompson speaks about the islamists threat during the Republican debate. His words resonate with those of us who know that this is the primary issue we must address to insure the future of our Republic. Our denial of a threat doesn’t make the threat go away, it just leaves us ill-prepared to deal with it. Our denial encourages our enemies and leaves us with a greater threat. As I say many times, avoidance of conflict only creates unavoidable conflict.
