Naval Lieutenant Andy Baldwin of The Bachelor fame is being deployed to Iraq in January for a 6 to 12 month tour of duty.
Aside from his tour of duty as a television star, he is a 30-year-old undersea medical officer for a special operations dive unit stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
He also recently broke up with his fiancée who apparently wasn’t thrilled with the idea of a long distance relationship. Hey - that comes with the territory in the military! Anyway, it looks like he’ll be needing a pen pal or two. I bet he won’t be having a problem finding one! lol
