Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I know that Christmas is most people’s favorite holiday and it many ways it is mine too. But Thanksgiving doesn’t have the stress related to it that Christmas does. The focus of Thanksgiving is on visiting with family over an over-indulgent meal. Its a real gathering for fellowship with loved ones.
One of my favorite aspects of Thanksgiving is the meal. Its special every year. I know that’s true for most people, of course, but with Thanksgiving the meal is the focus of the day. We get out our best tableware and serveware and prepare our best dishes with care to share with our loved ones.
