I know I’ve posted a lot of fluff lately, but when its just sitting there starring you in the face its hard not to comment on it.
Take this for example. Paris Hilton vowed she was going to use her celebrity to do good when she got out of jail. So far her version of performing acts of goodness seems to consist of her talking about it and donating $5,000 dresses to Goodwill now and then.
What’s a girl to do? I guess when all else fails you can dress up as the cause you want to take on, especially when you have like, you know, twenty or thirty Halloween parties to go to and that means, 40 to 50 Halloween costumes are required, you know? I mean, its like, you gotta do something and this is something. Now THAT’s hot!
Here Paris is all dressed up in an Army costume as what she calls a ’shout out’ to the Troops.

Here’s what she said at the LAX party she wore this to.
‘I’m wearing this for the troops because I know they’re having a hard time right now and don’t really get to celebrate Halloween.’
Is that precious OR WHAT!! I wonder if that’s her own design? I mean, it looks like every other outfit she wears, except its made with camouflage. If you notice, she even has on matching contacts.
I don’t think this is offensive. I think she probably really thinks she is supporting the Troops and that really IS hot. I just think she hasn’t got the first idea about how to go about doing all the good she said she was going to do when she got out of jail. In a way its pretty pathetic.
Should Paris Hilton find a new career designing military uniforms? Maybe she could design the ones the Israeli Defense Forces are using to hypnotize palestinian boys into walking into certain slaughter.
I have an even better idea. How about lets put Paris into a REAL Army uniform and let her really help the troops by going to Iraq and doing her part in the Global War on Terror.

Good morning Beth, You are an excellent writer. All interesting posts. Thanks . I would like to comment on the Fred Phelps post. Interesting!! For several years they appeared at the United Methodist General Conferences as a UMC Church. In fact they are basically one family. They held up signs like, “GOD HATES FAGS” etc and the ACLU and other anti christian groups love to presnt them as typical of anyone who would dare object to the GLBT Activist’s demands the the Church place it’s stamp of aproval on Gay, Lesbia, Bi-sexaul and Transgender behavior. The UMC has proven in General Conferences since the 70’s that we do not hat eGays or anyone else but we are tired of their disruptin of General Cinferences. Well…it is nice for the Methodists that this hate group has decided to become “Baptist”. I am sure the Baptist Convention will know how to handle them. Sad.
