Blue Star Chronicles

The 2007 Weblog Awards are up and running and being voted on, as you know! So …. I want to put a plug in for my favorite Best Diarist, RuthLace. I feel disloyal to my sister, The Median Sib, who is competing against her but I know she also thinks that RuthLace is definitely the best on the net.

RuthLace is NOT ordinary. Its is definitely not your usual blog. First, the woman that owns the blog is not your ordinary blogger. She is of the World War II generation. I won’t give her age because I’m not sure if she’d appreciate that or not. I’ll just leave it at, most people her age don’t use the computer that much.

Also, her posts are fascinating and tell the story of the American past. Stories you just don’t get from a first person perspective in other places. Its a slice of history from the perspective of someone who lived it. Here are a few examples of her work. Her stories are definitely worth the read …
