I suppose its hunting season. I don’t hunt myself, although I have been hunting. In years past my father took me hunting a time or two. I was more trouble for him that I was worth, I’m sure, so it wasn’t something that happened more than a couple of times. My father loved to hunt, but he never shot much. I think that he just liked being out in the woods early in the morning enjoying nature and the beasts that wandered about.

I didn’t think about it at the time, but he may have had a similar attitude as my husband. My husband lost all interest in hunting after Vietnam. Perhaps my father did after World War II. Who knows. It could be that’s why he never managed to get himself a deer.

My son has always been a hunter. I don’t know if he will remain so interested in it when he returns from Iraq or not. I guess time will tell. All the same, all of the men in my life (my husband, father and son) were avid gun collectors. They all were and are interested in the kinds of manly things that go with hunting.

Hunting Lights are one of those things they like. MagnaLights sells a huge variety of hunting lights of every variety and style. Their lights have been adapted for use by the military on the HUMVEE, Bradley, Stryker and Fox recon vehicles.

Its a good time to look around on their website for whatever your needs might be for lights during the hunting season. I think its a good gift idea during the Christmas season for those men of ours that are so difficult to buy for!
