My sweet Soldier Son is still stuck in Baghdad. How many days has it been now? I’ve lost track.
This is pretty excruciating. I know it has to be twice as excruciating for him though.
Its the hurry-up-and-wait of the military, I suppose. Its frustrating that after all this time they finally get to leave and they can’t get a flight out of the country. He came on the computer very briefly a while ago and said he’d eventually get home. His attitude was better than mine. Its just frustrating.

Oh No! I had hoped he’d be out of there by now. I know it’s frustrating. I’ll mention it in church tomorrow and get the church to pray for him.

Hey Carol and Jo - thanks for y’alls concern. I just talked with his girlfriend and he’s in Kuwait finally. They just got there a couple of hours ago. They have to stay in Kuwait a couple of days and then on to Germany. He was supposed to be back in Germany tonight - but they ended up with only a couple of days delay.
At least he’s in Kuwait!!!

I’m sorry you both have to endure that. I can imagine the reunion, just in time for the holidays, will be very special.
