Plymouth Auctioneering provides services for Park West at Sea, the world’s largest privately owned auctioneering company. The company conducts fine art auctions for eight major cruise companies from around the world. The position requires 4-5 months at sea with vacations of 4-5 weeks between trips. There is a realistic possibility of a six figure income.
In order to be considered for the position you need to be able to travel up to 10 months per year, have sales ability and experience, excellent communication skills, high standards of customer service, ability and/or experience in public speaking in front of large groups, ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with or without supervision, art knowledge and/or eagerness to learn and computer capabilities.
Compensation for this position includes an opportunity to work and travel the world presenting fine art to international collectors in the exciting cruise ship atmosphere, an opportunity to earn a significant commission based income, potentially the highest in the industry, a generous amount of time off. Contracts are typically 4-5 months with 4 -5 weeks off and an unprecedented training and support program.
