Al GoreI’ve mostly stopped writing about political issues because it’s such a dismaying situation. I read liberal blogs when I can’t avoid it, and their absurd reasoning and anti-American sentiment totally disheartens me. The 2008 presidential election has been stretched out to cover YEARS of campaigning and news coverage. It has gotten old and tiresome.

Al Gore continues to be an embarrassment to any American who isn’t blinded by the liberal agenda. He’s such a pompous do-as-I-say-do-not-as-I-do blowhard. Only after much negative publicity did he finally make one of his energy-guzzling homes more energy-efficient. Every time I see him give yet another self-righteous, anti-American comment, I am thankful anew that he didn’t become our president back in 2000. What a disaster a Gore presidency would have been. It is amusing how so many on the left and of course in Hollywood are jumping on his global-warming bandwagon. He has found the way to get himself back in the public eye, and all the negative leftards are eating it up. People are bad. Americans are especially bad. I wonder if he and the rest of the liberal left will ever tire of the verbal self-flegellation.
