This is the kind of thing that makes me crazy about the ‘blame America first’ crowd. Ron Paul, resident moonbat that calls himself a Republican for reasons I can’t discern, claims that the assassination of Benazir Bhutto is due to the ‘interventionist’ policies of the United States. He goes on to say that al-Qaeda has reason to be ‘annoyed’ with us. Here’s the link to the video.
I suggest that we have a reason to be a little more than ‘annoyed’ at al-Qaeda. I double-dog dare Ron Paul to go to Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan or any where in that general neck of the woods and make an announcement on their television network that we blame them and/or that we have reason to hunt down and kill al-Qaeda and other terrorist operatives. Ah naw - its safer to just blame America while you are sitting pretty over here in the safety of this country.

As far as Paul goes, he is a complete embarrassment and a raving wackjob who knows less about foreign policy then the “legalize pot” morons that support him.

Beth - Is that the best you can do? Accuse Ron Paul of having a “blame America first” policy? William, you seek to discredit Paul by accusing him of being a truther?
Some day naive people such as yourselves will be awakened. Let me ask you a question, and try to use your imagination: What if China put a dictator in power in the US, and then gave him all of the money and weapons he needed in order to stay in power? What if China has been manipulating our government to do what it wants for the past 50 years?
You need to think really hard about this. Actually imagine if this was true and really happening today.
Also, imagine that you do not have the internet, and the dictatorship controls what you see on the tube. Imagine that he also controls the newspapers. Imagine that you are poor and your family is hungry, even though USA has a huge supply of oil (hypothetically). Imagine that China consumes this oil, while you are poor. Imagine that you don’t know anything about china except what the Church tells you to know. You cannot afford an education and cannot read. Imagine that you are desparate.
Now, if you were actually able to imagine all of this: How do you feel about China? What about that crazy guy down the street - you know, the violent guy with the weapons stash? What about the Crazy rich guy from canada, who has freinds in the USA? What’s he gonna do?
I know what I’d do. I’d be joining the resistance. I’d be doing everything I can to destroy China. Since I don’t have much, I’d be looking to do as much damage as possible using the resources I have. The most effective means at my disposal would be to terrorize the Chinese. Crazy rich guy from Canada may just have the resources to do some serious damage.
People like you will wake up and smell the coffee some day. At least, that is my hope. Before it’s too late. Let’s pull our sh!t out of that part of the world and become energy indipendent. Quit giving the enemy money.
Of course this will not work overnight. There’s no military, no matter how powerful, that could ever beat a birth rate. The children of the middle east will carry the hate with them for the rest of their lives.
Here in the USA, we expect fast food. We need to face the fact that we will be dealing with the middle east for the rest of our lives. There will be no quick meal. The sooner we pull out, the less difficult it will be. I’ve already lost hope that my kids won’t have to deal with the monster we’ve created. Maybe there’s hope for my great grandkids.

Oh, and one more thing. Take the time to find out about Ron Paul before you write things that aren’t true about him. He’s not a truther, an isolationist, a racist, or a pot smoker.
It’s easy to try to discredit someone using insults - any idiot could do that! Why don’t you try reading about where he stands on the issues from his website? If you disagree with it, then let’s see some intelligent rationale.
To sum up Ron Paul, he wants to give our country back to the people and reinstate the checks and balances into our government that made us great in the first place.
Our problem today is that whenever there’s a crises, we ask “what is the government going to do about it?” It’s time we go back to asking “what are WE going to do about it?”
