You know, you don’t have to put away your LED Christmas lights. They save so much energy and are so inexpensive to use that there are a ton of other uses for them. In fact, you can operate 2,000 LED lights for eight hours a day, year round, for about $50 total. Additionally, the lights are almost indestructible and last for more than 50,000 hours. So they are cheaper in terms of how much energy they use and in terms of not having to be replaced very often. There is no reason not to use them throughout the year! There are certainly a lot more uses for them than just decorating for Christmas.
I think outdoor trees with small clear white lights are so pretty. You can highlight a special tree or special area on your property with lights that will brighten the area up, making it more festive and useful. I like to use the lights around the deck of our swimming pool. It brightens the whole area up and cost almost nothing. It is helpful for evening swimming and just looks so nice.
Don’t put away those lights! Look around and find a way to use them the rest of the year!
