The Senior Senator from Massachusetts, the Honorable Teddy Kennedy has conquered Alcoholic Encephalopathy long enough to endorse the Junior Senator from Illinois, Barack Obama for the Presidency of the United States.
Kennedy took the unprecedented step of inviting Obama and family to visit him on Chappaquiddick the Kennedy Compound for some sailing on his favorite boat, The Demon Rum. He is reported to have sent the invite saying:
‘Come on anytime, Barack, bring the wife and kids. We’ll go for a little sail and ‘We’ll splice the Main Brace.’‘
