I love looking at real estate. As I’ve mentioned before on this blog, we have bought and sold houses a number of times over the years and real estate has proved to be a good investment for us each time. That’s not the real reason I’m so interested in real estate though. The real reason is simply that I like to look at houses.

I found a great website for looking for properties whether you are just browsing or looking to buy. I was looking at Atlanta Real Estate since I’m from this area, but the website has properties from all over the world. I served some properties in the Cayman Islands and the Netherlands just for the fun of it.

The cool thing about the Real Estate Book website is that it searches for the properties for you. You just plug in the locale you are interested in. You can refine the search according to area, price range, size, particular features (ie: how many bedrooms and bathrooms, etc). You can view the options available and take virtual tours of the properties. They also have commercial properties, such as restaurants, in their database. But that’s not all, they also provide a map of the area the house is in, information about the neighborhood and, of course, the statistics on the house.

I can’t tell you how many times I have drudged around from house to house looking at properties that were nothing like what I was interested in. A website like this would have been wonderful for culling down a list of houses to the ones I would have really been interested in seeing. If you are looking to relocate you will probably get a lot of help in culling down your own list with the Real Estate Book. Give it a look and see what you find!
