Gee, Beth, see what happens when you stir up some Paulistas? Sure the calendar idea was sophomoric, but when Animal House devotees (or is that "disciples"?) are your demographic, you just have to go with the flow, ya know? Still, sophomoric sex appeal, while kinda cute in its silly way, when paired with... "carefully selected words of inspiration and wisdom" from the Founders and others. Oxymoronic, but cute. Reminds me of the kinds of stories I proposed for a school paper... when I was a silly sophomore.

Awwwww, Beth, Wasamaaaaater? Most gals know that brilliance and honesty is sexy...and Hot women are attracted to the very best. You may want to take a hard look at what the GOP has done to itself (Mcain), then take a look in the mirror to find some answers.

Leave it to a big government neocon to find fault with a little healthy American sex appeal. She'd probably prefer those Chinese quilted pajamas they all used to have to wear.

Dear Beth,

Thanks for the plug here, but we are actually sold out of calendars now!

People who are still interested in purchasing one, might want to try e-bay in a few days as they will now be collectors' items, being a limited edition at a total printing of just 500.

I wanted you and your readers to also know a couple things about the calendar, this project and DR. Ron Paul's supporters. First of all, the calendar is not just about "sex appeal" although I never had a problem with sex appeal. (Perhaps you have...) You see, if you had ordered one for yourself, before they sold out, (instead of trying to assess something you had never seen) you would already know that every page shows not just a beautiful woman proudly wearing her femininity and sexuality (oh, sorry, that word probably scared you) but that each and every page includes carefully selected words of inspiration and wisdom selected by myself, from great thinkers, authors, statesmen and visionaries, like Martin Luther King Jr., Thomas Jefferson, Albert Einstein, Ernest Hemingway and yes, Dr. Ron Paul.

Secondly, you must know that this was not a project funded or sanctioned in any way by the official campaign, but an independent project created by myself and some courageous, intelligent and sexy women. (Oops, I used that word again. I am so sorry.) I personally funded the project as well as donating from the project to the official Ron Paul campaign. It was a risk, but I had to take it.

See, Beth, that's kind of how life is. Certain things bigger than oneself, are actually worth taking risks for. Things like Peace and Civil Liberties. This is why my fellow R3volutionaries and I used the mirror image of "Love" and print it in red whenever we can. Because Love requires time, energy and patience, just like anything worthwhile in life. Because this new R3volution is so passionate that Love is at its center.

You really are right about us using our precious time and hard-earned (and heavily-taxed) money to do some truly amazing things, like raising more money in a single day for a political candidate than has ever been raised before in history. And this also, by the way, was an independent project, orchestrated completely outside of the official campaign of Dr. Paul. This project, twice helmed by Trevor Lyman, (November 5th and December 16th) was just another example of how a person once apathetic, who had never taken an interest in politics, who never even voted before, could experience an awakening, inspired by the simple honest words of a man speaking and standing up, for Truth.

In fact, millions of people across the country felt this same awakening, this resonance with Dr. Paul and his message of Peace and Liberty. The dedication of Dr. Paul's supporters heralds for us a powerful and profound shift in thinking in our country. It demonstrates that this New American "r3VOLution" is a movement that will not be ignored by the neocons, big government, controlled media or even confused blog writers.

Interestingly enough, only a third of the population of our country was in favor of the American Revolution at the time. And from that number, only a third actually decided to fight for their Liberty. (I guess They didn't have blogs back then...)

To correct just one statement you made about DR. Paul not being a "statesman", well, you might want to look that word up. Dr. Paul has indeed been a congressman for 10 terms (over 20 years) and has always voted in accordance with his stated beliefs and our United States Constitution. (This is called "integrity", by the way) I could tell you more about DR. Paul, but you might want to find out for yourself (like I did) by researching on line and watching his videos on YouTube, or by just going to www.RonPaul2008.com. I heard about him first on the Bill Maher show, when Bill referred to Dr. Paul as "my new hero". OF course I must warn you: doing your own research, spending time and energy is a lot like Love, and if you are not a loving person, you will NOT want to waste your time on this.

Oh, and one more thing. Andrew Malcolm, the senior editor of the blog for the L.A. Times, and the gentleman from whom you cannabalised these photos, actually did his homework and has a calendar. Of course he has done lots of things, like writing ten novels, being nominated for a Pulitzer Prize, lots of stuff that might have also required Love.

For Peace, Love & Liberty,
Juliet Annerino
