I don’t think that what Michelle Obama said was right or even good for her husband’s campaign. It would have been fine in my opinion to express that idea to friends but not to her country. It was too much a blanket statement encompassing every campaign for every politican because she did not state only a few. How does she feel about the Robert Kennedy or about the leadership of Martin Luther King Jr? They wanted equality for everyone in America. She’s old enough to remember them. Black rights is what she was referring to anyone can see that though she later states she meant something else. I also think she meant equality for women would be nice. The fact that Hillary Clinton is running also shows there is a change going on. I hope Michelle Obama not forget how important women’s rights are elimination of glass ceiling, equal pay etc. which is so similar to what minorities are demanding.

America has some serious issues to deal with that are not just on foreign policy or the economy and one of most evil unrelenting problems in this country is RACISM. The negativity especially from possibly the next presidents’ wife shown by Michelle Obama will not help us it will only divide us more.

People being disrespectful with each other online will hurt us all. My mistakes have a ripple effect and reach people I never though I could hurt. So will yours. Think how many people you talk to in a day. Do your inner prejudices (I said prejudices not racism) show? Do you have more patience for another black person or another Latino than for that white girl? Are you rude to white people because you cannot or will not forgive things that happened to another person of your heritage at the hands of completely different white people? Do you dislike her because she is wealthy and black? Do you automatically assume every person of a particular race feels a sense of entitlement to the things the world or our country offers?

As far as Michelle Obama being a communist I have tried for years to figure out what people mean when they say that a Liberal Democrat believes in a Communist Dictatorship. I still haven’t the foggiest idea how they could even be considered similar. Socialism isn’t even the same as Communism. It only was according to the Russian dictators. I am sure Michelle Obama is not a Soviet. Does she have money? Most likely if there is any money left after campaigning. Only the wealthy can really afford to run for president because it is so costly. I am glad she has money, lawyers frequently almost always work 60-70 hour weeks and they have a lot of useful knowledge that they use to help people with who could not have helped themselves. so she probably earned it. Yes they charge too much but with a lot of education a lot of professions can it doesn’t make her bad. Many Republicans are wealthy there are even some that own so much in oil that there is a lot at stake for them in Iraq.

Is the US imperialist? Well other than China who is the other major Superpower? Yes we have gone into other countries and taken over setting up our own government and working the people long hours while paying them barely enough to live on. Indonesia I believe and elswhere.

Maybe you could do a little more investigating and find out who edited out the “Really” from her statement, giving her statement an obviously different meaning. Some news service, you are writing smear articles based on an edited version of what she said. What a joke…, you owe your readers and the Obama’s an apology and retraction equivalent to the amount of times you have aired this “story”.
