Having served with the US Military on active duty and as a civilian employee for most of my adult life, I feel that I have a sound understanding of what must be done to ensure that our nation remains free and secure. We must let our military leaders make the necessary decisions on how to conduct this important mission, and we must give them all the material support needed to enable them to do so, in the most expedient manner. We must stop bickering among ourselves, and stop pandering to the whims of our enemies. Each time one of our leaders in government goes on the air complaining and promising to bring our troops home immediately, our enemy rejoices. Our enemy also becomes more determined to carry this conflict further, with hopes that we will take the cowards way out, and simply leave. We have the greatest Military Machine that has ever been known to man. Let us permit our Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines the opportunity to do their missions for us, without our constant disruptions. Nathan L. Johnson pandering Honorable Senator McConnell,
