ABC news sent a reporter deep into the danger zones of Iraq to find out who American Soldiers are going to vote for for President. The reporter came away with some shocking sentiments from the Soldiers. For instance, she found out that Soldiers think about home and would like to be at home!!!! SHOCKING!!!!
“We think about how our families are doing back home. That’s a major concern, like how the economy is doing, also as well as where we’re going to be in the future. Because really, truly, what we consider we’re doing, we’re doing a valuable job, we want to make sure that the efforts we make are appreciated.”
The reporter also found out that the Troops are too engaged in what is going on there to keep up with politics back home. Lord. Have. Mercy! In a war zone they aren’t tuning in to CNN every night to see what the latest gossip is or how far they are going to have to go to willingly suspend disbelief in order to vote for someone this fall. Tsk. Tsk.
I don’t know what the Soldiers are so busy doing over there that they can’t chill out in the evening and tune in to ABC for the nightly Obama love fest!!! They didn’t have to work nearly as hard as this particular reporter had to work. She searched until she found three Soldiers who she could contort quotes from that could be construed to mean that they are going to vote for Barack Obama for President!
Now they can report that the military backs Obama for President!
Well done little ABC reporter! Well done! You know that had to be a difficult task, but she accomplished it. I hope she gets a big bonus for her efforts or a raise or a promotion. Its well deserved.
Tune in to ABC for more of The Love of Obama!

question was it the republicans or democrats who decided after desert storm to downsize the military? So beth why do you feel a soldier has to vote republican if he understands the mission, see i must ask what mission, i have fought numerous wars, what is the mission? Free Iraq from the greatest dictator of all time or weapons of mass destruction, or was it because iraq attacked america. Ok i lost a lot of freinds and the only enemy i see in iraq is the IED. Those were bplanted by iraqis who were discouraged because we stayed. I honor their sacrifice daily trying to understand and cope with the fact that in the end iraq will never change. They do not want democratic rule being forced on them. They only know one way and that is violence. So i ask who have we defeated, remember iraq is made up of 3 tribal factions which represents islamic countries throughout the middle east. So when we shoot mohammed, which is a trib name we anger everyone in that tribe. Then they want revenge. People in the service support John Mcain because they like war…. I do not want to fight enemies we can’t see. Oh and guess what else, it look like to me republicans for the last 8 years were wrong. The iraqis wanted us out from the start they think we americans are liars becuase we went from liberators to occupiers. It was 2004 when things went wrong for us because strategy was wrong. So beth please educate me on what is so great about any republican right now start with reagan and come forward. You might find out that we would not be fighting today if they would have made better choices as president.

Here is what i think, and admittedly never served. I think there are people in the military who do support obama not the majority or none that are really willing to question the pres or mccain idea of leadership. however i am not really willing to believe that that members of the military are coming out for obama in droves. Thats impossible. However
mccain not getting money compared to obama where is the enthusiasm. part of me thinks the military is tired of politics. Dont forget they are watching out for washington. if they arent giving money to mccain they dont think mccain will win plain and simple. they’ll support him and vote for him, but there is lack of confidence showing even from die hard republicans like gingrich, and william kristol.
Hell joe scarborough sounds doubtful.

I also would like to hear what they think of calls for assasination from the republican psychotic fringe. An act of terrorism they are calling for by saying “kill him” or “off with his head”
Are they fighting for this? is this what they are fighting for? for the united states to be tearing apart at home. mccain if something happens to obama i am holding this party responsible.

Well I don’t know about this reporter but I know my husband is in Iraq and my brother just came from there this past Spring. They both voted McCain. They both feel they need to finish what they started if we pull out the people there will not trust us. They are starting to trust us. We don’t hear that in the news we just hear all the bad things that happen. We have to take the good with the bad. If we pull out it will be a waste of our time and money! Of course I want my husband home and he wants to come home..but he knows what he has/wants to do for our country! Maybe we shouldn’t have been there in the first place but we should atleast finish what we started. I am so proud of both my brother and my husband for serving our country.
