You need 8 percent CO2 in the lungs to start rebrebreathing reflex. If the patient did not have the CO2 in her body, the oxygen would keep her switched off. She obviously was not brain dead. If they had bagged her instead of putting on oxygen in the first place, she would never have winked out. Stupid doctors should be shot.
