Comedian Craig Ferguson gets a video from Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, offering him an honorary Alaskan citizenship. He talks about it in the video below.

As anyone who watches Craig Ferguson knows, he recently got his American citizenship. He did his comedy thing at the most recent White House Correspondents Dinner.

Well, apparently, about a year or so ago he started trying to get honorary citizenship in communities around America. It went from towns to cities and then to states. He got honorary citizenship in several states, he says, but he got a personal video from Alaska’s Governor Sarah Palin.

Being that its Craig Ferguson, he takes her use of the word ’succulent’ to have some secret meaning as to his attractiveness to the decidedly attractive Palin. With no disrespect, he mentions that she brings to mind a naughty Alaskan librarian.

We are so excited that John McCain picked Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin as his Vice Presidential candidate. We are appalled that the left is attacking her as being a woman, insulting her on a nasty and adolescent level as a woman (’She’s just another Bush’) and trying to negate her 13 years of elected administrative experience. Thank goodness that the conservatives are not looking for ‘identity politics’ but for qualified candidates regardless of race and/or gender. The left’s insults only give insight into their nature regardless of the damage control they try to employ later.

Its confirmed. Its Sarah Palin - nicknamed Sarah Barracuda. She got the nickname because of her athletic abilities and toughness while in school.

In honor of our next Vice President … Barracuda!

There’s a ton of speculation today that Sarah Palin has been picked as McCain’s running mate. Read about it below and see photos and a video of Palin below.

We will know who John McCain has picked as his running mate around noon today. But the speculation has been heavy that it is Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. This would be a bold choice, but then McCain is a bold man.

The reason for the speculation is that Palin has been on McCain’s short list all along. A private plane was dispatched to Alaska last night. It left Anchorage, Alaska and landed in Dayton, Ohio. A woman was seen disembarking the plane with two men, one a teenage boy. As everyone know, Palin has a teenage son.

We also know that other probably VEEP picks have been eliminated. Most notably, both Tim Pawlenty, Mitt Romney and Joe Lieberman all of whom have been alternatively speculated to be the vice presidential picks over the last few days.

Sarah Palin is definitely not a Washington insider, she has a 90% approval rating in her home state of Alaska, she ran on cleaning up corruption. She has solid conservative credentials, has executive experience as the Governor of Alaska. She has five children, her youngest just born five months ago. She is a strong supporter of our Troops.

We’ll find out who will be our next Vice President shortly. Frankly, I’m really excited at the possibility of it being Sarah Palin!

AND - she’s a Blue Star Mother - her son is in a striker brigade in Iraq. HOOAH!!!!!

John McCain has released a new ad in which he talks directly to Barack Obama on the night that Obama accepts his party’s nomination for the Presidency. The ad is here for you to view.

There has been some rumblings about John McCain releasing a new campaign ad on the evening that Barack Obama is due to appear and speak to the people gathered at the Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium in Denver. Its Obama’s big night, as evidenced by him emerging from a grandiose structure of Greek columns that apparently are supposed to be emblematic of Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Jr., Greed gods of antiquity, John F. Kennedy and who knows who else.

People seemed to be worried that McCain would ruin Obama’s evening by putting out an attack ad. Instead, McCain put out an ad congratulating him on his nomination. He said they’d be back at it tomorrow, but tonight is Obamas.

The man has class.

Vincent Hancock is an American Soldier and now adds Olympic Gold Medalist to his list of accomplishments … and he’s only 19 years old. Read about him below and see photos.

Vincent Hancock has been the best skeet shooter in the world for at least the last three years. He’s a 19 year old from Eaton, Georgia who beat out Norway’s Tore Brovold to win the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games gold medal in skeet shooting. He is ranked number one in the world.

Hancock and Brovold have dominated the shooting world for quite a while. They are the only two men to post perfect 150 scores in international competitions. So the competition at the Olympics were tense between the two best shooters in the world. Then Brovold missed a shot and opened the door for Hancock to break their tie and move ahead of him.

Hancock uses the same ‘Beretta DT10 Trident double-barrel 12-gauge shotgun, unmodified, with a 28-inch barrel, European walnut stock and forend, cross-bolt locking system and adjustable trigger shoe’ that he has used since he was 14 years old. He uses it in every competition.

He is a private first class in the elite U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia. His parents are Craig and Susan Hancock. It was his father who taught him to shoot. He has recently married. His bride’s name is Rebekah.
