Seriously, this guy got caught like a rat. He was cornered in a hotel at 3 in the morning visiting his ‘former’ lover. John Edwards finally admitted to having an affair with Rielle Hunter a couple of years ago, but says that the baby isn’t his. Well, then why was he there? He actually hid in a bathroom for a while trying to duck the paparazzi. How embarrassing.
If he weren’t such a rat, he wouldn’t have had to hide in a bathroom stall. Silly man!
Both John and Elizabeth Edwards put out statements that couldn’t have possibly had more legalese in them. They covered every possible scenario while saying that this wasn’t anyone else’s business.
Well, its NOT like he lied under oath or pointed his finger at the American people and said, ‘I did not have sex with that woman.’ Its not like that. However, it does give us insight into the character of the man. And, like I said, its just embarrassing.
So much for his vice-presidential dreams.

Now, Edwards just needs to go home and be quiet till the country gets distracted by the next scandal. Put a fork in him. He’s done.
Oh – and he might practice having backbone. Edwards, haven’t you ever heard the saying, ‘Its not the crime, its the cover up’? The cover up is what gets you caught and in trouble every time. You can’t always lie and slime your way around it. You’d have been better to have just owned up to it to begin with. At least that way you wouldn’t have had to curl up in a corner in a public bathroom and would have given the appearance of having just a little bit of personal courage.

Politicians are like cats and think the whole world is their litter box. The constant covering up needs to cease. Ms. Hunter is equally responsible for this tawdry story…maybe more so.

Ho Hum. Who cares? Edwards is a minor politician with no hope of being VP or President. On the other hand I was surprised to find that Senator McCain, Presidential hopeful for the GOP, is an admitted serial cheater. Dumped his wife when she was no longer physically attractive. Odd that Senator McCain’s history prior to his 2000 run hasn’t received much any significant media attention.

Oh Matthew. Speaking of Ho Hum – do you think going around the internet and leaving comments like that makes it true? Do you think if you repeat it often enough then people will believe it?
McCain is man enough to own up to whatever mistakes he’s made and takes the consequences like a man.
Please quit lying about his history. A failed first marriage doesn’t make him a ’serial adulterer’ and there were lots of reasons for the failure of that marriage. McCain has enough honor and integrity to take the blame himself rather than try to air all the dirty laundry in public. That’s totally different than trying to slime out of a situation. There’s no comparison.

I know Jo! Edwards meet Hunter in a bar and then gave her a high paying job in his campaign. He picked her up in a bar, for crying out loud. He says it was a brief and unimportant affair, yet he gave her the job and had her following him around videotaping him. Go figure!

So if this was such a brief affair – and if he really is not the father of the baby
then why sneak around in the middle of the night just a few weeks ago – at some
posh hotel in LA – to be caught by the press – and then hide in a bathroom??
Looks like he is much more guilty than just a “brief” affair that began and ended
in 2006. Let’s see what a paternity reveals – odds are on Mr. Edwards.

Even in admitting his affair, Edwards couldn’t help but lie when he said he did not father the child.

Thanks Beth for finding this video. It is extremely hard to find videos of the peccadillo’s of the socialist left in America. They have on their side, all the lawyers, schoolteachers, TV, newsprint and movie stars, most of the teachers and both houses of Congress…..BUT
WE HAVE THE TRUTH ON OUR SIDE.

John Edwards is running for nothing. John McCain is running for president. When John McCain was a prisoner in Vietnam, his wife, a former swimsuit model, was in a disfiguring car accident.
When McCain saw her after returning home, he begain a series of extramarital affairs. He ended up carrying on a year-long adulterous affair with Cindy, his current wife. He was still living with Carol while cheating on her with Cindy.
He finally divorced Carol and married Cindy when she was 26 and he was 44.
John and Cindy McCain’s marriage began as an adulterous affair. But hey, we all know it’s only a sin if a Democrat does it.
