Democrats Disrespect the American Flag
Much has been made of the fact that the McCain campaign rescued American flags that had been tossed by a dumpster following the Democratic National Convention. They were handed out at the Republican National Convention with the caveat that if people didn’t want to keep them to please return them and they’d be distributed to military grave sites.
The Democrats said it didn’t happen that way. They say the flags were stolen. They say the flags were just being stored in the garbage bags by the garbage dumpsters!
Regardless, it took the Obama campaign more than a week to realize the flags they had stored in garbage bags next to garbage dumpsters after the convention were missing. So some McCain supporters took them and some boy scouts sorted through the 84 big black plastic bags before another McCain supporter had them distributed to the crowd at the Republican Convention in St. Paul.
Judging from the photo above that was taken at the Democrat’s convention, I think we can be fairly sure that neither Jill Biden nor Michelle Obama were responsible for mishandling a flag since none are in sight of them.
On the other hand, I do hope that the flag by Joe Biden’s side made it into the hands of someone who might have treated it with more respect.
