Vladimir Putin is perhaps one of the most macho leaders in the modern world. His latest display of manliness is releasing a DVD in which he teaches judo. Read about it below and see photos and a video of the macho man.

Russia’s Prime Minister and former President Vladimir Putin has been called the second sexiest politician in Russia. Last month’s Sex & the City magazine in Russia did a ‘Sexy Rating’ and rated Putin the second sexiest politician. I would hate to be Boris Nemtsov, the opposition leader, who beat him out for the top spot in that rating. But that’s another subject.

You might remember last year when Putin went fishing topless. That incident and the photos that were released of him caused a stir throughout the world. People thought the then Russian President was showing off his sex appeal and some found him quite appealing.

Then, last month he went on a hunt with researchers in the Russian Academy of Sciences reserve and was pictured with a tranquilized Ussuri tiger as researchers put a satellite tracker on the tiger. See the photos below.

Its been said that Putin is so competitive that he brags to President Bush that his dogs are meaner, bigger and tougher than Bush’s dog Barny. He releases these photos of himself in these masculine pursuits.

Putin is a black belt in judo, released his new judo instructional video on his 56th birthday. He humbly (HA) says that ‘Anyone who watches it ‘will be learning not from your humble servant but from real geniuses’ of the martial art.’

Putin is an advocate for physical health and strength and says that the individual health is reflected in the health of the Russian government.

In a weird kind of way, the ego of Putin is sort of oddly endearing. I guess that should be qualified to say its endearing right up to the point that he sends his military to destroy your neighborhood. He’s an interesting and scary character.
