Saturday Night Live is pretty much an equal opportunity insulter. Last night they went after disgraced Illinois Democratic Governor Rod Blagojevich. Read about it and see the videos here.

I wrote that Illinois Democratic Governor Rod Blagojevich had been disgraced. That may not have been accurate. It seems that democrats who participate in less than honorable behavior are generally rewarded with longer terms in office rather than being disgraced and run out of town on a rail. Take Senator Teddy Kennedy, Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and numerous others as an example. That said, it does seem that even the democrats are anxious to get this dude out of office. Perhaps he’s got an ace in the hole that they don’t want him playing.
Anyway, SNL took a comedic look at Blagojevich last night. They did a ‘Really???’ segment on him. Here is the video.

They did a segment on Governor Blagojevich and his wife, Pattie Blagojevich. The skit is a take off from the profanity ridden surveillance recording of the two of them planning to sale Obama’s Senate seat and get back at the Chicago Tribune. In the SNL version, they are wanting a personal bailout and are offering up Abraham Lincoln’s wedding ring (complete with skeletal hand) and asking for a job with NASA.
