The Obama family has been vacationing in Hawaii, as everyone knows. There have been tons of photo ops while they have been there. Check out some photos of their vacation below and some videos of their vacation as well as a virtual tour of the vacation home where they are staying.

Obama Vacation

The Obama family vacation has gotten a lot of air time. Not least of which is the oohing and ahhing over the photos of Obama body surfing (included here). Yes, he’s a nerd, but people still go on and on about his abs. He has been working out a lot, so he’s a little more buff than he was at the beginning of his odyssey to the presidency.

In spite of the fact Oahu is experiencing a power outage and Michelle Obama having to take time out to attend a fundraiser while there and he’s sent out an email to his minions asking for more money, they seem to be getting by somehow on the island paradise. In fact, the Obama family vacation home is nothing short of luxurious. The video below gives you a virtual tour of the compound on which they are staying. It rents for $3,000 per night and is valued at about $10 million. It boasts of a lagoon swimming pool, privacy and all the luxury accommodations anyone could ask for. It is said to be Oahu’s most luxurious estate, and that’s saying something.

While there, the Obama’s have spent time with their daughters, Malia, 10 and Sasha, 7. They have picnicked, body surfed, walked the beaches, visited with family and friends, golfed and played basketball.

Obama has refrained from making comments about or dealing with the escalating violence in the Middle East. When asked, he reminded people that there is just one President at a time. A fact he seems to forget when convenient and remember when convenient. The whole Middle East thing is much too nasty a situation to deal with. One would risk controversy by making a firm decision or statement regarding the Middle East. Best to go walk on the beach shirtless and show off those new toned ripples. Its the packaging, not the substance that matters.

While the Obama’s have become multi-millionaires through their ’service’ in politics, they want you to donate more money to help the democratic party and pay off campaign debt. While they fly off to Hawaii in huge jets and stay in the best accommodations and take multiple SUVs to every appointment, they want you to downsize your lifestyle and make sacrifices to save the environment. Its the typical class system of the democratic party. If you are one of them you deserve the best, the masses need to be told how to live.
