Somewhere around 63 million of you After the Oath of Enlistment is taken, we are separate from the general population. In that Oath is a line toward the end that states"...that I will obey the orders of the President of The United States and all Officers appointed over me." Just so you are aware. Nobody said we had to like it but we simply do it out of that sense of Duty which,frankly, Mr. Obama does not. Nor did Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton. I did serve both of those Presidents. Period of Service: 1973-1993. It isn't so much that Barack Obama will be the CINC. It is the feeling of betrayal by those who have put him in The Office. And for the self-serving media and "elites" who seem to know how to dow things better than we do. That being said, Having been retired from Active Service since September 30, 1993, I can let whomever and whatever(Pelosi, Reid, CNN, et al have it whenever I so chose. And if that does include some of the folks I work with and even family, that's life sometimes. Whether anyone likes it is immaterial to me.
