Obama’s Grandmother is coming to the United States to attend Obama’s inaugurations. To be more precise, his Kenyan step-grandmother is going to be at the inauguration. Read about it and see the video below.

Sarah Obama is Barack Obama’s step grandmother. No, she’s not the grandmother that raised him, the one he threw under the bus during his campaign. Sarah Obama is his step grandmother from Kenya. She will be coming to his inauguration and attending an unofficial inauguration ball held for people from Kenya.

She’s bringing with her some interesting gifts for her grandson.

Quoted in the Standard newspaper Monday, she said she had hoped to bring him a traditional spear and shield from her Luo tribe when she flies to Washington on Friday with some other family members.

She won’t be able to get the spear and shield on the plane. I had to have a body search the last two times I flew and both times they took my diet pepsi away from me and on one of those times they took my hair gel away. And it was new hair gel. Surely if those could be used as weapons than a spear and shield would be just as threatening. Maybe she’ll check them and that won’t be a problem.

In the video below, she talks about her pride in her step grandson becoming the American President. She does say that she hopes he’ll take care of the whole world and not just focus on the United States. That’s a theme Obama himself has stated in the past. Remember that embarrassing trip he made through Europe and that speech in Germany about being President of the World? That was very embarrassing, but apparently he’s not the only one who sees him as interfering with the world as a good thing.

Odd, the same people have criticized the United States viciously for being involved in world politics. But I guess its okay for them, but not for other people. You know, like most things are okay for him but not for other people.

Newsflash. He is elected as President of the United States. Not the world. He needs to put American interest above any other. Period.
