Venezuelan President and petty dictator Hugo Chavez has said that Barack Obama stinks. Read about it below.
It seems that Barack Obama has made yet another misstep in his attempts to make the United States loved by the world. As we all know, if only we would talk to and appreciate every America hater, then the world would love us. Obama promised to do that, yet he has not done so well so far and he’s not even President yet.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has been attempting to continue his dictatorship of Venezuela by doing away with term limits for the allegedly democratically elected presidency. He’s been trying to convince the Venezuelan people who have not yet escaped his tyranny and are still stuck living under his cruelty, that he’s the man who can bring them everything they ever wanted and make all their hopes and dreams come true. Sound familiar? Just as he’s doing this, Obama comes out and says that Chavez will have to stop supporting terrorists. Here’s what he said.
“We need to be firm when we see this news, that Venezuela is exporting terrorist activities or supporting malicious entities like the FARC,” Obama said. “This creates problems that are not acceptable.”
Well! How dare he. How dare he not keep his promise to all the communist, socialists and islamo-fascists in the world that he’d meet with their governments without precondition and would thereby give them legitimacy.
Hugo has taken great exception to Obama breaking this promise. He’s so mad he has started throwing stones … so to speak.
“No one should say that I threw the first stone at Obama. He threw it at me.”
He also declared that Obama stinks just as bad as Bush. Oh - that must hurt the Bush haters to have their man compared to Bush by a known Bush hater!
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez apparently doesn’t appreciate Barack Obama’s classifying him as a supporter of the Colombian terror group, FARC, likening the president-elect’s odor to that of Chavez’s nemesis, President Bush.
In an interview airing on Venezuelan television and reported by The Washington Post Monday, Chavez said Obama has “the same stench” as Bush. The comment harkens back to September 2006, when Chavez addressed the United Nations General Assembly after Bush and said he could still smell the “sulfur” the U.S. president left behind at the podium.
He says that Obama has to say what he has said because he’s following the order of the empire.
“If he doesn’t obey the orders of the empire, they’ll kill him,” Chavez said, without naming who “they” are.
People in other countries rarely understand the finer nuances of the obsession with political correctness that we live with here in America. Its our burden to bear, not theirs. Their interest in Obama is that he’s the new U.S. President, nothing more. They don’t understand that they are supposed to worship him regardless of what he says and does. They have their own interests. If he doesn’t give them what they want, then he’ll be burned in effigy just like every other President has been.
Obama may be god-like to Hollywood and the Effete Eliteā¢, but the rest of the world sees him as just another American President. The rest of the world will judge him on what he says and does, not on his celebrity. The rest of the world will not worship him for just existing. They’ll expect something from him. When he delivers what they want, they will love him. When he doesn’t, they’ll hate him.
I hope he develops enough courage to do the right thing, because he’ll have enemies no matter what he does. If he tries to please everyone, the conflicts in the world, left without being confronted, will grow to critical mass. I hope he develops some courage.
Its not so easy, is it Obama?

Bravo Beth! You are so right. The rest of the world is not foaming at the mouth and getting tingly all over like so many here are doing over Obama! It will be interesting to see how he does with world leaders.

This blog misses an important point. I spent some time in Venezuela after Chavez was reelected two years ago. Meeting many ‘Chavistas’ (blind followers of Chavez), I learned that their support is contingent on having been convinced that a new socialist era is opening up worldwide and that Hugo Chavez is at the center of it. President Obama not only inspires the Venezuelan opponents of Chavez, but also provides proof that the world is not moving in the path that Chavez said it would - America is not sinking, it is rising. That must be making Chavistas wonder if Chavez’ direction is wrong and empty promises will ever come about.
