Continental Flight 3407 crashed into a home in Buffalo, New York earlier today. Its confirmed that all aboard the flight and one bystander were killed. Read about it below, see photos and a video.
Continental Flight 3407 Crash
Continental Flight 3407 crashed into the Buffalo, New York suburb of Clarence Center about 10:20 p.m. Thursday evening. Its been confirmed that all 48 souls aboard the flight were killed as well as one bystander on the ground. Fortunately, the family in the house that was hit was able to escape.
The Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 operated by Colgan Air was preparing to land at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport when the crash happened.
Its being reported that the widow of a 9/11 victim, Beverly Eckert, was on the plane. Her husband, Sean Rooney, was killed in the attack on the World Trade Center. She was co-chairperson of the group Voices of September 11th. More information will be forthcoming.
