Muzzammil Hassan, also known as Mo Hassan, was estranged from his wife, Aasiya Hassan. The Buffalo, New York couple had founded a television network on the premise of promoting Islam in a positive light. In an ironic turn of events, Muzzammil has been arrested and charged with the murder of his wife in a manner that is associated with Islam and honor killings. He was arrested last Thursday and charged with beheading her. She was found decapitated at the Bridge’s Muslim T.V. network.

Aasiya had filed for divorce recently. In the past few weeks, she had called the police for protection saying that she felt she was in danger. Apparently, she was right.

Thursday evening, police converge on the station’s Orchard Park studio and office.

“The worst that I’ve seen, yeah,” said Andrew Benz, Orchard Park Police Chief.

Police tell News 4 the only suspect in this case is the victim’s husband, who walked into police headquarters in Orchard Park Thursday evening to report his wife was dead.

It’s being called a brutal murder.

“She was decapitated,yes,” said Benz.

Zubair was found in the hallway. The mission of Bridges TV is to foster understanding between cultures and diverse populations. According to police, the couple had trouble getting along.

Benz said, “There has been some history. I believe Mrs. Hassan, the victim, had recently filed for divorce and had served the papers on Mr. Hassan.”

This isn’t being called an ‘honor killing’ in the main stream media. Its gruesome and horrific for sure, but to call it an ‘honor killing‘ would be to associate it with Islam and that isn’t politically correct in the brave new world we live in.

The fact that this is a Muslim couple who have founded and operated a television station devoted to promoting Islam in the West is not relevant, of course. Its a station that has aired ‘Wahhabi anti-Christian and anti-Jewish sermons from Saudi TV broadcasts, including English subtitles. Stalinsky also noted that Donald Conover, one of the main hosts on the network, discussed “the power of the ‘Jewish lobby’” and urged Muslims to vote for Democrats during an interview with a Saudi newspaper in 2006.‘

Still, we can’t call it what it is.

Our liberal left screams outrage when an American Soldier defends himself in war, but barely bat an eye at the beheading of a woman in Buffalo, New York. Its mentioned briefly and then we move on to the next Obama moment. The motive for the murder hasn’t been published. She had filed for divorce. I would imagine a divorce would not be good publicity for a couple who ran a television station touting the fundamentals of Islamic culture. On the other other hand, how dare a Muslim wife embrace Western culture to the point that she would file for divorce?

How have we come to this point in which the Judeo-Christian values our country was founded on are despised while we embrace the culture of an ideology that has declared war on us? What has happened to us?
