Greta Van Susteren was back in Alaska tonight. She interviewed Bristol Palin about teenaged pregnancy. She also talked with Sarah Palin who appealed to Barack Obama to veto the enormous stimulus bill. Read about it below and we have the video here for you to view.

Sarah Palin Greta Van Susteren - Video

Obama and the democrats in Congress and the Senate have pushed through one of the most expensive and important pieces of legislation within a month of the Presidential election. Almost 1,000 pages of complicated legal speak, full of special projects, earmarks and pork was expected to be voted on within hours of its release. Up until the very hour of voting on it, revisions were still being made, adding more projects and more expenses. The bill places the largest tax burden on the American taxpayer of any legislation in history. This one bill will cost taxpayer a minimum of $1.3 TRILLION dollars.

Its hard to wrap one’s mind around a TRILLION dollars. That is comparable to the entire world’s GNP (gross nation product). The value of the American dollar will plummet, taxpayers will be burdened for years if not generations with paying back the debt and our national debt will skyrocket.

The democrats pushed this bill through in much the same manner a used car salesman sales cars. There was whining, begging, deal making (only to ignore promises made after the fact), declarations of gloom and doom if it wasn’t acted on RIGHT NOW. Like the car salesman that doesn’t want you to look too closely at the car before you sign on the bottom line, the President and Congressional leadership demanded it be signed NOW. Don’t read it. Don’t discuss it. Don’t look too closely. It has to be done now. Strong arm tactics were used when all else failed.

They could get the bill passed because they are in the majority, as they have been for the past two years - when the financial problems began to develop. With all the hurry up, hurry up, to get the bill passed through the House and Senate, they have delayed having the President sign it. Instead, democratic Congressmen too off on government jets for a vacation in Italy … at taxpayer expense. The President has touched base in Washington periodically, but mostly has been on a dog and pony show throughout the U.S. using his charm and charisma to tell the American public that even though we will all be broke, this bill is really best for us. So in spite of the mad rush to push the bill through Congress, it still hasn’t been signed by the President. He must have a signing ceremony for public consumption. Its only right. After all. Its an important piece of legislation that will give the government an unprecedented amount of control over the individual lives of the American people and put the people in an unprecedented amount of debt.

Sarah Palin talked with Greta Van Susteren over the weekend. The show aired tonight. Sarah made her argument asking the President to veto the bill. We know he won’t. He has focused solely on getting it passed since he was inaugurated a month ago and it gives him enormous power and control. He won’t veto it.

Palin’s common sense argument is not the in line with the agenda of the left, who are now in control of our country. She suggested that our Representatives should have time to actually READ the bill before passing it. Imagine such a concept. She suggested they should have the opportunity to get their minds around and discuss how this bill will impact the American people, our economy and how the government is taking control of our lives.
