Joy Behar filled in on Larry King Live last night. Interestingly, her guest for the evening was Ann Coulter. Now, that is a paring for the ages! Whoever thought of that is a brilliant marketer to say the least. Talk about putting two outspoken, opinionated women together with polar opposite opinions! Of course the fireworks are good for ratings, and fireworks are what they got.

Poor Joy Behar put up a good front, but did what most liberals do when confronted with Ann Coulter. She twisted and turned her words in an attempt to make it sound as though she is just spewing out hate rather than making a legitimate argument. Come to think of it, that’s how many ‘progressives’ argue. Again, like most people who try to argue with Ann Coulter, Behar was out of her depth. She said of herself that she wasn’t a political person, sort of. Well, Ann is and knows her facts. Joy parroted what she’s heard from her liberal friends here and there.

I guess the bottom line is, it was a good time for all. Ann was her usual sarcastic self. Joy was her usual obnoxious self and between the two of them it was lively – even though Joy was outwitted, outplayed and outlasted.
