Samantha Light and Stephen (Steve) Quick of Veedersburg, Indiana were arrested on March 5 after a child told her mother of inappropriate touching and pictures. Read about them and see mug photo’s below.

Stephen E. Quick, 31-years-old, and Samantha Light, 25-years-old, both of Veedersburg, in western Indiana are being held in the Fountain County Jail on $100,000 bond after their arrest just over a week ago. The two ran a babysitting service from their home until a brave and well taught 3-year-old told her mother about an incident involving the adults. The little girls mother asked her if perhaps they weren’t just helping her in the bathroom. The child said ‘No Mommy, they took pictures’. This particular incident is alleged to have happened on February 28th of this year.

The initial raid on the home produced several computers, cameras, a video camera, pornographic materials, drugs and drug paraphernalia. A videotape showing several sexual acts involving both Stephen (Steve) Quick and Samantha (Sam) Light with at least four different children between the ages of 2 months and 6 years was also seized. Sex toys that appeared in the video were seized during a second search of the couple’s home.

The two month old baby is alleged to be the couple’s own daughter. The FBO (Female Birthing Object) even has a My Space where she refers to herself as a *Proud Mommy*. Someone pass the Alka Seltzer, please! Her family is shocked, describing her as intelligent and controlling. What one thing has to do with other is beyond my comprehension.

Stephen Quick was preliminarily charged with three counts of child molestation and one count of child exploitation. Samantha Light faces four counts of child molestation and one count of child exploitation.

The mother of the 3 year old will remain unidentified, but has stated she wants them to be put in prison for life.

“The damage they have done to these young children is going to affect them for the rest of their lives. And there’s no taking back what has happened already,” she said. “All they can do is make sure that it never happens again.”

Following the arrest of these two alleged child pornographers, Fountain County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Bob Kemp stated:

“In 15 years of doing this job, it’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen or imagined, just horrible, just horrible … It’s a new low.”

You know folks, the RSO (Registered Sex Offender) laws are not working. Neither Light nor Quick have any criminal history. There are no solutions available to stop child pornography or child exploitation at this time (although I think my ‘one bullet, one gun, no problem’ theory would work, it’s illegal,too ). People, especially those on drugs, and pedophiles will find a way to fulfill their greedy and selfish ways. What is a parent to do? Almost everyone needs a babysitter at some point. These heartless and soul-less mass of cells walk among us every day. They are in every profession. They realize that the dissolution of family and family values allows our children to be more vulnerable and easier targets today than even 10 years ago.

We have pedophile forums allover the internet, coaching other twisted creatures on how to molest/rape your child - children. They brag about it … they compare their efforts to legalize sex with children to the efforts that homosexuals went through to gain their rights to be treated as equals. We need to do something, but what?

Perhaps our economic mess is a blessing in disguise, forcing more parents to stay at home and raise their own children … yet it sure doesn’t explain Samantha Light and Stephen Quick allegedly molesting their own month old.

They will have a vigorous defense, a litany of excuses to explain away or minimize their alleged crimes, and I begrudgingly agree that it’s necessary. A good resource to better understand this is Sex Crime Defender.

The sooner we demand harsher penalties for crimes like this, the sooner we make the rather obvious connection between drugs and child porn, the sooner we stand up and refuse to accept or excuse these people, the sooner it will stop …. or at least slow down long enough to catch our breath and find a permanent, viable solution to this, the worst of crimes.
