Barbara Bush, the brunette Bush twin, met her long time boyfriend, Jay Blount while both were undergraduates at Yale. You might remember that Barbara’s twin, Jenna Bush got married in May 2008 to her long time boyfriend, Henry Hager. So I guess, people are watching and waiting for Barbara to walk down the aisle.
Jay Blount has been referred to as Barbara’s ‘friend’ and their relationship is usually referred to as on again/off again. He has been seen with her off and on over the years, but there have been long periods of time when they haven’t been seen together. In other words, they’ve given the tabloids precious little gossip to work with.
The rumors even went so far as to suggest that the couple would be getting married this summer at the Kennebunkport home of former President George H.W. Bush (the senior).
As of the writing of this article, the rumors are being dashed by a Bush family spokesperson.
Despite reports that the Bush twin, 27, is going to marry her boyfriend Jaly Blount this summer, a Bush family source tells PEOPLE there is no wedding in the works.
“The story is absolutely not true,” the source says.
At least Barbara Bush doesn’t need to worry about any planning when she does decide to get married. The tabloids seem more than happy to fill in all the details for her.
