A lot of people are very unhappy at the idea that Barack Obama will be delivering the 2009 commencement address at Notre Dame on May 17th. The fact that the Catholic university invited the pro-abortion president to speak at the commencement exercises. There is a severe dichotomy between the beliefs of the Catholic Church and the beliefs of Obama. There have been a number of Notre Dame protests of one form or the other. More are planned for the day of the speech. Among them is former Illinois U.S. Senate candidate Alan Keyes and 21 other people who protested the university with him.

The left loves to hate Alan Keyes. They generally call him crazy. That’s primarily because he doesn’t walk in lockstep with their view of things. He dares to be outspoken of his own opinions, as opposed to repeating the talking points required to be accepted by and approved of by the left.

Speaking of walking the walk and talking the talk of the left. Did you hear about or see comedian Wanda Sykes do her thing at the White House Correspondents dinner? hmmm-hummm.

The Pirate’s Cove reports on more typical behavior from the far (FAR!) left, Obama is attending the 65th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, but doesn’t want any regular folks there. However, he’s also giving one of his ‘important’ speeches to the Muslim world on June 4th from Egypt. Now isn’t that special.

Don Surber is offering up a discussion of Carrie Prejean and the hypocrisy of the left over her topless photo and her daring to verbalize and opinion about gay marriage.

Flopping Aces analyzes Obama’s Robin Hood personality features. You know, redistribution of wealth and all that. This isn’t going over well with the ubber-wealthy Obama supporters … to say the least. You know, its one thing to have sympathy for poor people, its something else altogether to actually give them your money!!!!

However, as The Other McCain is reporting, the President seems unconcerned about redistributing his own wealth. You really didn’t think he would, did you?

Remember the New York City Air Force One flyover fiasco? It seems the White House Military Office Director Louis Caldera is having to take the fall for that. Scared Monkeys is reporting on it. One wonders if anyone is actually in control at the White House. No seriously, this is what happens when there is a vacuum of leadership.

Jammie Wearing Fool is reporting that another Symbionese Liberation Army leftist terrorists is being rewarded with a teaching position at the University of Illinois. Talk about the land of opportunity! Be a domestic terrorists and get the opportunity to brainwash impressionable young Americans whose parents send them to these universities for an education. It doesn’t get any better than that does it! American universities are becoming breeding grounds for terrorists. There’s something seriously wrong with that.

They will say they have every right to express their opinions and beliefs, regardless of how it affects the people around them. Even if it costs lives, as in the case of James Kilgore. However, if someone like Alan Keyes expresses his opinion, he is dismissed as being insane or Carrie Prejean is smeared in the media. You see, what’s good for the goose is definitely NOT good for the gander when it comes to politically correct speech as defined by the ‘progressives’ of this country.
