Is it possible that Britain’s Got Talent finalist Susan Boyle could possibly use the “F” word in full view of fans, police and family - and more than once in a two-day Rambo-style rant? That’s what some British media are reporting, and neighbors say that Susan Boyle, the hometown girl, is nicknamed “Rambo” around the neighborhood. The 48-year-old Ms. Boyle, who took the world by storm when she walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) stage and stunned the judges with her rendition of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables, is said to be in meltdown mode in the spotlight’s glare, and under pressure from other talented finalists. Can Susan Boyle be a ranting Rambo? Can the “Angel” have a temper? See photos and videos below.

Susan Boyle

According to the Daily Mail, Susan got very upset when her favorite Britain’s Got Talent judge, Piers Morgan, praised Shaheen Jafargholi, a 12-year-old Welsh finalist as “the best singing performance we’ve seen so far.”

The story goes that Susan was watching Shaheen perform from the hotel bar where the BGT “talent” stay. When Morgan gave the glowing report of her young rival, the report says Boyle:

…stood and screamed “f*** off” before flicking a “V” at the screen and storming out.

She got up, did one of those strange wiggling dances that she does, and then stuck two fingers up at the TV. Then she marched off. We didn’t see her again.

Boyle’s off-stage performance is said to have been witnessed by “hundreds of hotel guests.”

The evening prior to this supposed temper rant by Susan Boyle, the same publication says London police intervened when she was heard roaring:

How f***ing dare you! You can’t f***ing talk to me like that.”

Police approached her and asked if there was a problem. She is quoted saying” Of course there’s a f***ing problem.” Onlookers said it took her quite a long time to calm down, but no one knows for certain what prompted her outburst. Rumors are that “two strangers set out to wind her up.” For the record, the police were not called, they were already present in the Wembly Plaza Hotel.

The pressure of being on Britain’s Got Talent is being blamed for some very raw emotions. I have a hard time believing this story, and Boyle’s spokeswoman is denying it. She says that Susan was not present in the hotel bar when young Shaheen sang, saying that Boyle was being hassled by a journalist and left early.

But, of course, there are those hundred or so guests who say they were in the room when Boyle offered up her special four-letter-word temper tantrum. Susan’s hometown neighborhood of Blackburn, West Lothian, has been telling some stories of their own. One claims that she has been known as “Rambo” around the neighborhood “for years;” Rambo after the Sylvester Stallone character in the movie of the same name.

A neighbour told The Sun: “The reason is because if Susan doesn’t get what she wants, she goes wild.”

Another added: “It’s not unusual to see her freak out over the smallest thing.

Dubbed the “Hairy Angel” for her untended eyebrows and angelic voice, Ms. Boyle has had her share of mocking press. The pressure and excitement of a high-profile show like Britain’s Got Talent “gets to” contestants less than half her age. While bookies make book on Susan to win, just think about it…this 48-year-old-woman, said to be a virgin and “never kissed,” known for her church work, and living in a small Scottish town, walked onto the stage of a popular British television show and found the eyes of the world following her. The finals are on the horizon for this Scottish lass. If Susan Boyle is a ranting Rambo, and her temper is showing, then I tend to think she needs a pass this time. Let’s give the lady a break.
