Apparently we aren’t the only ones who have noticed the president’s dependence on his presidential teleprompter. Its not that other presidents haven’t used teleprompters, they have. This president, however, doesn’t go anywhere or utter a word without the prompting of his teleprompter. His supporters say its because he’s a perfectionist. His detractors say its because he doesn’t speak his own thoughts and is lost without being fed what to say.

Some of us get a bit dizzy when we listen to his speeches and watch the never ending back and forth of his head as he reads off his teleprompter. Its like they say in the video, once you know what he’s doing, you can’t NOT notice it.

The political right has long commented on and made fun of the Obama Teleprompter. Well, not the teleprompter, per se, but the president’s use of it. Its like the presidential teleprompter has taken on a life of its own. In fact, it really has in many ways. The POTUS with the TOTUS, as it were.

It is interesting that now even the notoriously left leaning MSNBC has decided to acknowledge and even laugh at this president’s over use of the teleprompter. It was featured on the Today Show this morning.. They even did an interview with the TOTUS. You can check it all out in the video below.
