Apparently there is a strong countermovement among the young and middle class against him that only recently visibly expressed itself. The whole nuclaerization of Iran depends on keeping ahmaddinajad in power and its clearly a fascist government. The mullahs won't allow a democratic election as their power is defended by the revolutionary gaurd structure. No wonder they were beating the opposition with billy sticks. This is a rare window into the true nature of the Iranian government and power structure that they will soon shut to the world.I think the nuclearization of Iran is their paramont project and they are making a run for it to the exclusion of all else. Same with North Korea. Its been that way for years, but now the pressure is really on, and they are being blatant about it. Bush picked the wrong war.
