John Kerry Joke: Too Bad Sarah Palin Didn’t Go Missing
John Kerry tried to make a joke again. This John Kerry joke referenced the story about South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford going missing. Kerry said it was too bad Sarah Palin didn’t go missing. Read about it below and see photos and a video.
We haven’t heard a lot from John Kerry since he was the democrat’s presidential candidate in 2004. But he rears his head occasionally when someone wants to interview him about something or he has a speech at some obscure college somewhere. Well, he’s was speaking to some business and civic leaders yesterday when he tried to make a joke about Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin in reference to the then ‘missing’ South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford.
He told the group:
Too bad if a governor had to go missing it couldn’t have been the governor of Alaska. You know, Sarah Palin.
Of course, the group that had been invited by Kerry laughed at his lame joke.
Too bad this John Kerry joke isn’t his only joke. He has a history of making lame jokes.
The more the democrats attack Sarah Palin, the more obvious it is that she’s a real threat to them. They really are afraid of her and what she represents.
On another note, am I the only one that sees a real resemblance between Kerry and Barack Obama? They are both tall and thin. They have long faces and are more than a little nerdy. They both speak in that Harvard, Northeast, elitist way of saying words the way Europeans do rather than the way most Americans speak. They both get their pictures made surfing and wading in the surf. They both talk and talk and talk and talk but say hardly anything at all. It just seems to me there’s not a hair’s worth of difference between the two. Yet, no one voted FOR Kerry, they only voted AGAINST Bush. People actually voted FOR Obama. Why the difference? If anything, Obama is further left in policies than Kerry (if that’s even possible). But people ignored his policies and voted for him anyway. I guess he tells better jokes than John Kerry does.
Below is a video of Kerry discussing Sarah Palin during the campaign. Much of what he says in the video has been proven wrong already, just as he was wrong about Vietnam and so many other things he has done over his career. Hopefully, his younger sort of twin, Obama, will not be as wrong as often as Kerry has been.
I guess to John Kerry, its a joke to think its too bad Sarah Palin didn’t go missing.

I cannot believe the statement that was made in this article about our president Barack Obama, he is articulate, intelligent, he knows the needs of the American people, and he cares.
I agree with John Kerry, Palin needs to make a trip to Russia, she can see it from her house. Palin is a dork, uneducated, and she does not have a clue.
She is a disgrace to intelligent women throughout the US.

Palin has really gotten under the skin of every democrat and liberal out there. They can’t attack her on her record, because it’s quite impressive, they can’t attack her on her policies, because they make sense, so they attack her personally or her family. Deep down inside they know that most people didn’t really vote FOR 0bama, they voted out of anger over the economy which they blamed on the party in power, and people were voicing their dislike of Bush. If they were actually voting for 0bama, he would have been well ahead all along. 0bama didn’t move ahead, out of the margin of error, until after the financial crisis.

Actually, I think the comment was spot on. A lot of us wish Palin would leave the stage and stop trying to keep her name in the news. She had her 15 minutes plus some. She is nothing but hype and is a hypocrite for exploiding her family for her own self gains.
As for Senator Kerry, you have not been paying attention- he has been in the news and has been very busy as Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relation Committee and as the Senator from Mass. Please do not try to compare the small potato accomplishments of all hype and no substance Palin to the 20 plus years of real hard work and accomplishments of Senator Kerry. She could never measure up. As a matter of fact- most people can see right through her actions and deeds for self-promotion.

Who’s John Kerry? Is he that guy from In Living Color?
God only knows if John Kerry had gone missing for several days. . . nah. . . nobody would’ve noticed.

Molly – you are hilarious. No seriously – a real hoot. You’ve got this joke thing down perfectly! Thanks for the laugh.
MAWC – are you for reals????? Or are you just following up with jokes after Molly?
I agree with Greg and Rob.
Sarah – keep makin them shake in their boots! That’s probably the funniest thing of all.

We don’t need leaders who are so ignorant and immature. The Dems are so intimidated by Sarah Palin because she can do it all – anything from compete in beauty pageants to skinning a moose. She’s a mother of 5 – one in the military, one a young single mother, one with downs syndrome. She effectively governs a state which is more experience than organizing a community like our present president. She’s a great speaker who doesn’t depend on a teleprompter like our present president. She supports those with special needs instead of telling jokes about them on Leno like our present president. She definitely keeps them shakin’ in their boots.

When are people going to start attributing Tina Fey with the * I can see Alaska from my house* quote???
Are demorats that afraid of Mrs. Palin…that they have to latch onto jokes and claim them as fact?

When I said we don’t need ignorant leaders I was referring to John Kerry and his immature remarks about Sarah Palin.

I think Sarah Palin just needs more experience and has to do more “homework”. So she might be a far better politician. But at her current state she really would have been a bad vice president.

I just re-read MAWC’s comments. I don’t know how anyone could confuse Palin and Obama in regards to small potato accomplishments and no substance.
I can’t believe anyone would defend Kerry’s comment. It was immature and disgraceful. For someone of lower class (like me) an equivalent retort to Sen. Kerry might be: “It’s too bad only one Mass. senator has …” No, I can’t even write it. It’s just wrong, I wouldn’t wish ill on anyone and neither would Gov. Palin.
