You should all know there is some major follow-up to this story. Including the allegation that he was AWOL from the army, was “doubled up” on medication when his vehicle went over the tent, didn’t have legal custody of his children, and was wanted for violating probation on a felony child abuse conviction in 2007.

You need to revise this article. Apparently you don’t know about the arrest warrant that had been issued in the State of Georgia for a violation of probation is relation to a FELONY child abuse conviction there. While I am very thankful for this man’s service to our country, he is still responsible for his own actions. Just because he served his country we shouldn’t give him a pass for everything he has done wrong since he returned to the States.

I agree, there is something terribly ‘fishy’ about this whole incident, I thought that from the minute I heard the story. I imagine we will be hearing more scary details about this mans past, and about this incident, over the next few weeks.

It is pretty strange that his Ford Explorer with a column mounted shifter managed to slip past not one but TWO shift locks (where the brake pedal must be depressed, one from park to reverse and one from neutral to drive) which are a legal requirement for vehicles now. Plus he’s had the children removed from his custody previously in Georgia.

It sucks that a veteran that signed up to serve our country is homeless…but at the same time he’s at fault for a decent part of his current situation.

Something in his story sounds awful fishy. How could you accidently knock your car into foward without first going into REVERSE and besides in 90% of all vehicles you need to pull the shifter toward you before you can pull the shifter down. Infact some G.M. models require the brake pedal to have pressure on it before you can take it out of park.
Furthermore this man holds a warrant for his arrest out of Georgia for child abuse.
DON’T Blame this on LIBERALS this man has a record that needs some very serious considerations.

DSHS/CPS sucks! And in this case sucks more than most. Write your congressman Nana. Better yet send this post.

I must say though that it was the last administration, not the current one that has screwed this nation into the ground.

What short memories some of us have. Not me, I remember when Bin Laden predidted everything that has happened in this country. The Bush family have ruined us. I am so sad for us all.

Way to thank our vets. Let them be homeless. They should get just a little consideration for their service.

We’re going to have a lot more ppl living in campgrounds before this administration is through with us.
