Sarah Palin’s PAC Raises More Than $730,000
A PAC is a Political Action Committee set up with the purpose of raising and donating money to candidates for political office. In spite of the constant barrage of brutal, negative attacks from the left wing media, Sarah’s Palin’s PAC seems to have been very successful in its first few months, raising 3/4 of a million dollars in just five months.
Sarah PAC, the political action committee formed by Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin earlier this year to maintain her national profile, raised $733,000 in the first six months of the year, according to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission today.
During that same time period, Palin spent $276,000 –largely on fundraising appeals and consultants — and ended June with $457,000 in the bank. None of Palin’s contributions came from political action committees, an attempt — seemingly — to preserve her outsider and reform credentials.
Both the fact that she formed this PAC in January and her announcement earlier this month that she will resign her office as Governor are fueling speculation that she will be seeking the Presidency in 2012.
It’s pretty impressive that Sarah Palin’s PAC raises more than $730,000 in such a short period of time. Now that she won’t be restrained by the constraints of her office as Governor of Alaska, she will be a money raising machine. She is, after all, an ‘It’ girl as the media is calling her.
It seems that all the attempts to define her to the public as an airhead, dizzy, redneck hick isn’t working so well. Maybe people can actually think for themselves.

Does anyone know a woman who raised a family, was a governor, married once, smacked a Republican “good ole boy” syndicate in the jaw, RAISED the Alaskan dividend money from “Big Oil” and ran for Vice-President? Damn “NOW” woman!
IF she was Democrat she would have been put on a pedestal and worshipped! She would have been the Messiah…think how shallow our system is where “intellectual” Democrats still debase themselves into childish, school yard name calling if the “D” isn’t beside their name.

I THINK ITS A PRIME EXAMPLE OF WHAT KIND OF PERSON SHE IS, TELLING THE MEDIA SHE DROPPED OUT BECAUSE OF THE NEGATIVITY DIRECTED AT HER AND HER FAMILY. REALLY SHE WANTS TO BE ABLE TO RAISE MONEY WITHOUT BEING CONFINED BY HER JOB RESPONSIBILITY’S, SO WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SHE’S PRESIDENT AND SOME OUTSIDE GROUP OFFERS MORE MONEY?, AND HOW DOES SHE FIGURE THE NEGATIVE PUBLICITY WILL BE ANY LESS WHEN SHE RUNS FOR PRESIDENT? Rob - all Obama has done his whole career is raise money - billions. He spent about 5 minutes in the Senate and the rest of the time campaigning for and raising money for the presidency. He’s continued campaigning and raising money since he’s been president. He’s spent less time in the White House and in Washington than any other president for the length of time he’s been there.
So - what kind of person does that make him?

Mid - couldn’t agree more! The left loves to talk about the ‘humble’ beginnings of anyone on that side of the aisle while ridiculing Sarah Palin for not being from the elite. They made fun of her for going to a state university!! Gasp!!!
At least she released her transcripts and - oh - she has a U.S. birth certificate! Heh!

Oh - and they have to define her as an airhead, stupid, inexperienced, incompetent, etc. because she is SUCH a threat to them. The problem is, she’s none of those things and what they are saying and what we see of her doesn’t jive.

Barb - you are obviously confusing Sarah Palin with Barack Obama - he’s the one that can’t speak without a teleprompter and gives long rambling speeches. She’s sharp, articulate and straight forward. If you ever try to listen to her without your obvious biases against women who don’t think just like you do, then you might hear what she’s actually saying instead of what
Saturday Night Live tried to portray her to be.
