There are reports that U.S. missiles killed Osama bin Laden’s Son, Saad bin Laden. Read about it below and see a photo and video.

Osama bin Laden has many sons. In fact, the bin Laden family of Saudi Arabia has many, many members. Some of bin Laden’s sons have nothing to do with him and some of them are following in their father’s notorious footsteps. Apparently, Saad bin Laden is one of his son’s that was attempting to adhere to his father’s muslim terrorist theology.

U.S. officials are reporting that Sa’ad bin Laden has been killed by American missiles in the lawless tribal areas on the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

According to National Intelligence Director Mike McConnell, Sa’ad bin Laden spent years under house arrest in Iran. Last year he traveled to Pakistan to join his father’s terrorist group. It is believed that he was killed earlier this year by Hellfire missiles fired from a U.S. Predator drone. Since we don’t have his body, DNA tests can not be conducted, so there is no way to absolutely verify that he was indeed killed. However, U.S. spy agencies report they are 80 to 85 percent certain that he was killed in a drone hellfire missile attack.

The reports also say that the younger bin Laden was not a major player in al-Qaeda and not a major enough player to have been the target of the attack, he was simply ‘in the wrong place at the wrong time’. He was thought to have been one of 11 of bin Laden’s sons that was being considered as a successor to his father, but was not really a serious contender. His only significance to the War on Terrorism is that he is Osama bin Laden’s son. It is not known if Osama bin Laden was any where in the area when the attack occurred.

Saad bin Laden is believed to have been 27-years-old and Osama’s second oldest son. He is thought to have been involved in the 2003 al-Qaeda bombing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Its also believed he was the contact between al-Qaeda and the Iranian special operations group, Quds Force, that carried out attacks on US Troups in Iraq.

There is little else known about him other than that he is one of many sons of the most well known leader of the al-Qaeda terror networks. At this point, it is only suspected that U.S. missiles killed Osama bin Laden’s son.

Its also been reported that the last thing that went through his mind was a hellfire missile.
